What's On My Face #1 "Fall Weekend Day Look"

It's getting cold in NYC and we like to stay in our cozy bed on the weekend (i know i would)! But the the sceneries in NYC is beautiful all year round, so i still like to head outside for a walk or shopping on the weekends.

Most of the time i like to keep things as simple as possible (even with makeup), but in the fall and winter time i like to spice things up a bit. The Maybelline New York Baby Skin Instant pore Eraser is an affordable primer in the drugstore that works well. It doesn't instantly erase pores, but it does fill them in and make them look smaller. The Nars Sheer Glow Foundation in Gobi has become one of my love during this time of the year. Even thought i have oily and combo skin, this foundation sits well on my skin without looking too oily and give off this nice SHEER GLOW. I like the glow on my face, but since i do have oily skin, i still like to put a bit of the Rimmel London Stay Matte powder all over my face to control the shine. I usually finish the face off with a blush and highlighter. Right now i have been using the Dior Nude Shimmer in 001 Rosa/Pink, its a really nice light pink that wears well with light skin tone. 3 Concept Eyes Highlighter in #gold-pink is a beautiful light shimmer thats really popular in Asia now, it adds a nice glow to the cheekbones.

Nars Pro-Prime eye base is one of my stables ever since i start playing with makeup a few years ago, It keeps my eye shadow on for at least 8 hours. Burberry Sheer Eye Shadow in NO. 22 Pale Barley has become another one of my love, its a gold-brownish shade that is perfect to blend all over the eye (thanks to Vivianna Does Makeup's recommendation). I use the Mac eye pencil in Coffee as a thin eye liner and Giorgio Armani Eyes to kill Mascara. Most of the time i just use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Tinted Brow gel in Chocolate to set my eye brows. The Clarins Instant Light lip perfector in 01 is a light pink that give the lip enough moist for fall and winter.

So What's your "fall weekend day look"?

XOXO,
Haishan
